A lot of drivers think handling is all about tyres, absorbers or front strut bars — until they realise the rear of the car still sways from side to side when taking a corner at speed. That sway is called body roll, and it’s the biggest reason your car feels unstable or “floating” at the back.

A Rear Anti Roll Bar connects both sides of your rear suspension and works to control the weight transfer during cornering. Instead of letting the car lean heavily to one side, the bar pulls down the lighter inner side and keeps the rear level. The result is a flatter, more stable cornering posture with sharper steering response and extra grip.

Standard or lower-spec models usually leave this bar out from factory to cut cost or prioritise a softer ride. Sport versions often include it to deliver better high-speed handling.
