This body-reinforcement rear lower bar is located under the rear floor in front of the H-shaped torsion beam rear suspension.  The rear lower bar reinforce the two rear compliance bushings where the torsion beam connects to the sub-frame, and contribute significantly to the solid driving feel.

This technology is also being use in the Honda CR-Z sporty hybrid as oem part to improve it's solid driving feel.
